Privacy
Radian is a local-first desktop app for running coding agents, built by an EU-based company. This notice covers the Radian website and the pre-launch beta list. It explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as the product needs, which is very little.
The short version
Your code never reaches our servers. The desktop app runs agents on your own machine with your own provider keys; your sessions, threads, and files stay local, and agent requests go directly from your machine to the model provider you choose. The only personal data we hold is the email address you give us to join the beta.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit a beta signup form. We use it to add you to the beta list and to email you about the beta.
- Standard server logs. Like most websites, our host records basic request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and guard against abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers or cross-site analytics on this site, and we do not sell or share your data.
Who processes it
We use Resendto store the beta list and send beta emails, acting as our processor. The GitHub star count in the header is fetched by our server from GitHub's public API; no information about you is sent to GitHub in the process.
How long we keep it
We keep your email on the beta list until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or the beta program ends, whichever comes first. Every beta email includes an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email hello@withradian.com and we will respond. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
As Radian moves from beta to launch, this notice will grow to cover the shipped product, and the desktop app will carry its own in-app privacy details. When we make a material change we will update the date above.
