How Radian works with coding-agent CLIs while preserving provider-specific capabilities.
Radian is a harness for coding agents, not a replacement model API. It is designed to run agent CLIs through a shared desktop workflow while preserving the capabilities that make each agent useful.
Directory scope
The public directory currently lists 19 integrated external agents, plus the built-in Radian runtime (not a catalog row). Every public row is Available: the desktop registers a concrete runtime adapter for each. Six exact packages have reviewed, integrity-pinned install recipes. Standard upstream Pi remains a separate installation and account path from Radian.

The product page is the visual authority for names and logos. Each directory row reports catalog, installation, authentication, and runtime support separately. Inclusion of a mark is not a commercial partnership with that product.
What Radian normalizes
Radian provides common project, thread, transcript, approval, and workspace surfaces. An adapter translates between those surfaces and the selected agent runtime.
What Radian does not flatten
Agents differ in authentication, session behavior, tools, models, and extension systems. Radian should expose those differences where they matter instead of pretending every provider has the same contract.
Provider-by-provider installation, authentication, and runtime limitations are added as integrations stabilize.
